Hello and welcome! I’m Kristen Turner, Founder and CEO of Places To Go, People To Care For LLC.
When I founded this company in November 2025, I wasn’t simply creating a transportation service—I was bringing a vision to life. My dream was to build a trusted companion company where every individual feels valued, respected, supported, and never alone. A place where kindness isn’t just a promise—it’s the foundation of everything we do.
At Places To Go, People To Care For LLC, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, maintain their independence, and continue experiencing the moments that make life meaningful. Whether it’s attending a medical appointment, celebrating with family, enjoying a day at a theme park, shopping with confidence, or simply getting out of the house, no one should have to miss life’s special moments because they don’t have someone to walk beside them.
My passion for serving others began long before this company existed. As a child, I spent many summers with my grandmother in the Bronx, where I witnessed firsthand the everyday challenges that often accompany aging and chronic health conditions, including diabetes. Those experiences shaped my heart and taught me one of life’s greatest lessons: caring for someone isn’t always about providing medical care—it’s about being present. It’s about listening without judgment, offering encouragement, sharing laughter, and helping someone continue to enjoy the life they love.
Growing up in Buffalo, New York, I developed a strong work ethic, resilience, and a deep appreciation for serving others. That journey eventually led me to Florida, where I spent more than 13 years building a rewarding career in healthcare recruitment, talent acquisition, and relationship management. I had the privilege of partnering with hospitals, physician groups, rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, senior living communities, and healthcare professionals across a wide range of specialties.
Throughout those years, one truth became impossible to ignore: exceptional care extends far beyond medicine.

I met countless individuals who were medically stable yet socially isolated. They missed doctor’s appointments, family celebrations, church services, vacations, community events, and even simple outings—not because they lacked the desire to go, but because they lacked someone they could trust to accompany them. At the same time, I met families who wanted to be there for their loved ones but were balancing careers, raising children, living in another city, or navigating responsibilities of their own.
That gap between independence and isolation became impossible for me to overlook—and it inspired the creation of Places To Go, People To Care For LLC.
Our mission is simple yet deeply meaningful: to enrich lives through compassionate, dependable, non-medical companionship and transportation. We do far more than provide rides—we create opportunities for connection, confidence, independence, and peace of mind. Every journey is an opportunity to remind someone they are valued, respected, and cared for.
My commitment to serving others continues to grow. Today, I am pursuing my education toward becoming an Occupational Therapy practitioner, expanding my knowledge and strengthening my ability to help individuals maintain their independence, confidence, and quality of life. I believe that true service requires lifelong learning, continuous growth, and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others.
