Hello, I’m Kristen Turner, Founder of Places To Go, People To Care For LLC.

What began as a dream in November 2025 has grown into a purpose-driven company founded on one simple belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to live life with dignity, independence, and meaningful human connection.

Long before this company existed, I discovered the importance of compassion through my grandmother. Spending summers with her in the Bronx gave me a firsthand appreciation for patience, responsibility, and the everyday challenges that can accompany aging and chronic health conditions, including diabetes. Those experiences taught me that caring for someone isn’t always about providing medical treatment—it’s about being present, listening, encouraging, and helping them continue to enjoy life.

Growing up in Buffalo, New York, instilled in me a strong work ethic and a determination to pursue opportunities that would allow me to make a lasting difference. That journey eventually brought me to Florida, where I spent more than 13 years in healthcare recruitment and relationship management, partnering with hospitals, healthcare organizations, and professionals across a variety of specialties.

Throughout my career, one thing became abundantly clear: exceptional healthcare extends far beyond clinical care. I met countless individuals who were medically stable yet lacked something equally important — a trusted companion to help them remain engaged with the world around them. Too often, people missed doctor’s appointments, family gatherings, church services, community events, or simple outings because they didn’t have someone to accompany them or because their loved ones were balancing demanding schedules of their own.

Those experiences inspired the vision for Places To Go, People To Care For LLC.
